DPS finished
This is my finished double page spread for my magazine. The pictures are all inter-textually linked to my front cover and my contents page. The writing in each of the three columns is an interview between 'Nero' and the music magazine 'Crank'. The first column basically introduces the artists and what exactly the interview is going to be about. The pull-quote is an extra to basically draw the reader into the interview and try and make them interested and therefore buy not only this issue but further magazine issues.

Picture which represents target audience
This picture is representative of the urban music lifestyle. They tend to listen to fast paced and loud music with quick flashing lights in the background. They tend to dress quite smart casual (jeans and baggy shirts). They tend to be between the age of seventeen to late twnety's. They tend to be rebellious and want some place to let of steam from there other social lifestyle. They tend to revolve around urban geographical locations because they are more niche markets and are different to typical pop genres. They also relate to the lives of the people living in these areas. They tend to watch rebellious films such as 'Quadrophenia' and 'Superbad' or 'American Pie'. These films relate to the persons lives and either aspire to be the actors in the films or are similar to them in cerrtain ways. I believe the type of magazines they would buy would tend to be music magazines which relate to there genre and magazines with bright colours and attractive features on the front like studio lights or motivated lights. I believe they would buy magazines with bold mastheads and bright attractive colours and therefore would buy my magazine because it matches these concepts.

DPS (Draft)
This is a draft for my double page spread.. I used the same title, sub heading, pull-quote and columns for my completed double page spread. However, the pictures are only templates and are not my original images. I used these to show where I would put my original images.I believe the template pictures showed exactly what the urban lifestyle is like and why people enjoy this way of social living.
Contents Page (Draft)
This is a draft for my contents page. I believe it links well with the front cover and DPS because of the contrast of colours between the two and the textual writing linking the information from the front cover to the DPS. The pictures are just template pictures used to show where I would put my original images. The special features column on the right shows what will appear on the magazine during this issue. The title 'Contents' seems to go well with the layout of the page and does not seem to create a mechanical barrier. However, there does seem to be a bit more blank space on this draft compared to my DPS and front cover.
